GENERAL FAQ

 

A) How Do I order?

Ans: Simply fill in our online order form send it in to us or call us on 08006122897 where one of our helpful order team will confirm your order details and answer any queries you may have.

B) Once I have ordered what happens next?

Ans: We will email you or post an order acknowledgment detailing each window or door ordered simply sign the order acknowledgment and confirm your order is correct we will then take payment by credit or debit card for the full amount if it is a window or door or 50% if it is a conservatory with 50% the remaining balance payable upon delivery.

C) Do you charge for taking credit or debit card payment?

Ans: No fee is charged for payment by this method what so ever.

D) Can I pay by cheque ?

Ans: Yes but all windows doors and conservatories will only be forwarded for manufacture upon receipt of a signed order acknowledgement and cleared funds. If payment is made by cheque seven days must be added to delivery time to allow for cleared funds.

F) I have received my new windows and doors where are the keys located?

Ans: For UPVC windows they are normally inside one of the windows for UPVC doors they are normally screwed to the outside of the frame and for composite doors they are located in the letterbox.

G) These prices must mean you are selling an inferior product

Ans: Absolute nonsense! Don't listen to sales people the products we sell are state of the art! fully reinforced to maufacturers specification, fully fusion welded internally beaded and come with a full manufacturers warranty, further backed up by a ten year insurance backed guarantee if you choose for our fitters to carry out installation. The major difference is we have no sales people to give hefty commissions too no showrooms or large overheads. We pass all these savings on to you our customers.

H) Do I have to be present when you deliver my windows doors or conservatory?

Ans: Yes part of our conditions of sale state you must be present upon delivery. After all you will want to check your new purchase.

I) Do i have to sign a delivery note

Ans: Yes our driver will ask for a signature to confirm your satisfaction upon delivery.

J) Will you advise me of the delivery time prior to you delivering?

Ans: Of course one of our delivery team will liaise with you to arrange a convenient time for us to drop your windows doors or conservatory.

K) What happens if I find a breakage or find something is missing upon delivery?

Ans: Every step possible will be taken to ensure your goods arrive in the same condition they left the factory however in the event of a problem simply phone 08006122897 where we will do our upmost to sort the matter out immediately with replacements taking no more than 48 hrs.

 

Fitting FAQ

 

A) Do you offer a surveying service.

Ans: Yes we recognise some customers may not feel comfortable measuring their windows doors and conservatories and would prefer the comfort of a professional surveyor to take all the responsibility.

B) Do you charge for surveying?

Ans: Yes to cover our costs obviously time and the ever increasing fuel bills a charge of £60.00 is added to a customers final bill.

C) Do I need to employ a surveyor?

Ans: Certainly not, simply follow our measuring guide under "how to measure" fill out our easy online forms and thats it! We are always happy to answer any technical questions simply phone us on 0800122897 we will be only too happy to help.

D) Do you offer a fitting service?

Ans: Yes we offer a full fitting service.

E) Do i have to use your fitters?

Ans: No! Our site was built for the sole purpose of supplying the latest specification, highest quality windows doors and conservatories to the end user without any hassle. Supply only is what we are trying to accomplish with the added benefit of a fitting service for those customers that need it.

F) Do you issue a competent persons certificate.

Ans: Yes upon satisfactory completion of the installation a Certass certificate shall be issued by us.

G) What are your fitting charges?

Ans: £120 incl VAT for french doors or a patio, £80 incl VAT for a single residential door (incl stable doors) £60 incl VAT for a window, bifold and conservatories please phone for up to date fitting prices.

H) When do I pay for fitting?

Ans: You pay for your windows doors in full prior to manufacture, conservatories 50% with order 50% upon delivery. Fitting you pay to our fitters upon satisfactory completion of the installation.

I) When your fitter have complete the installation do they take the rubbish with them?

Ans: Of course all frames and related rubbish are completley removed off site by our fitters.

J) When do I receive my certificate?

Ans: Normally upon completion of an installation certass will issue their certificate within 15 working days.

K) Can you guarantee me a date for fitting ?

Ans: Normally yes but as with any home improvements which are reliant on weather conditions work can be slightly delayed due to inclement weather, however we shall keep you informed and always aim to complete our fitting schedule on time.
